Krista & John are Tying the Knot - Engagement Session at Race Street Pier, Philadelphia PA | Spring Lake, NJ Photography

As we approach Thanksgiving, often times we reflect on things that are most important to us, family, friends, a good career, and good health.  While every day, I am thankful that I am able to pursue my passion for photography, as well as wonderful clients, I can't help but be exceptionally thankful for this couple I am about to introduce to you!  Krista and John are getting married next June - so be on the lookout for their wedding photos, as I'm sure the day will be fantastic - and we shot their engagement photos in October.

Most of the time, I work to make sure that my person life does not affect my clients.  Despite my best efforts, the week or two before Krista and Johns engagement session my family experienced a series of blows - a family member passed away, and my father was diagnosed with stomach cancer (huge words to hear, even bigger ones to write).  The family passing left a lot of uncertainty with my schedule, and rather waiting to find out that a funeral may be the cause of needing to reschedule, I reached out to this lovely couple, just to be proactive.  Krista didn't even skip a beat, she was so sweet, offering to reschedule if I needed, and I couldn't be more thankful for that understanding in my time of need!

That all said, luck was on our side, and we were able to keep the engagement session scheduled as is, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful evening on the Race Street Pier, and I had my great assistant Rachael with me for the day to help!  Krista and John are a wonderful couple and I am very much looking forward to their wedding in a few months!
